Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Ageneral collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, web application, APIs, command-line tools, extensions, and related services (the "Service"). Ageneral is a platform for deploying and running AI agents in isolated cloud compute environments. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf to provide the Service, you act as the controller and we act as a processor.
Information We Collect
We collect: (a) Account information — your email address and the public credentials of the passkeys (WebAuthn) you register; we do not store passwords. (b) Project and organization data — project names, membership, roles, and settings. (c) Agent and Customer Content — the agents you configure, prompts and instructions you provide, code and files you submit, agent memory, and outputs generated for you. (d) Connector authorizations — access and refresh tokens and related metadata for the third-party services you choose to connect, stored to enable the access scopes you grant. (e) Usage and log data — API requests, agent activity, model usage, timestamps, IP address, and diagnostic logs used for operating, securing, and debugging the Service. (f) Billing information — plan and credit activity, transaction history, and tax-related location signals; full payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us. (g) Device and technical data — browser type, device identifiers, and similar information collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How We Use Information
We use information to: provide, operate, and maintain the Service; run and orchestrate your agents and route their requests to AI model providers and connected services as needed to fulfill your instructions; authenticate you and secure your account and projects; process payments, manage plans and credits, and calculate applicable taxes; monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance, reliability, and security; detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, and security incidents; communicate with you about the Service; and comply with legal obligations.
AI Models and Agent Processing
To carry out your instructions, the Service transmits prompts, content, and relevant context to AI model providers through a managed gateway, and to the third-party services you have connected. This processing occurs to perform the tasks you direct. Model providers and connected services process this data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not use your Customer Content to train foundation models, and we do not sell your personal information.
Connectors and Third-Party Authorizations
When you connect a third-party application (for example via OAuth), we store the credentials necessary to access it within the scopes you grant and use them to let your agents read from or write to that service on your behalf. We access connected services only as needed to provide the features you use. You can revoke a connector's access at any time through the Service or the third-party provider, which may limit related functionality.
How We Share Information
We share information with: service providers and sub-processors that help us operate the Service, such as cloud and compute hosting, our payment processor, AI model providers, and infrastructure, logging, and analytics vendors, each acting on our instructions; third-party services you connect, as directed by you; and authorities or other parties where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the public. We may also share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections. We do not sell your personal information.
Data Storage, Isolation, and Security
We design the Service for isolation: each agent runs in its own sandboxed, per-customer compute environment, separated from other customers' agents and data at the process and network level. Communications are encrypted in transit using modern TLS. Agent secrets are provided to runtimes as scoped, read-only references rather than being exposed in plaintext to the broader system, and access to the platform uses short-lived, scoped credentials and ephemeral certificates. We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the risk. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain personal data and Customer Content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete content or close your account, we delete or de-identify associated data within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as security and billing records.
International Data Transfers
We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you reside. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect the data in accordance with applicable law.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, including the European Union, EEA, United Kingdom, and California, you may have rights to: (a) access a copy of your personal data; (b) correct inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) receive your data in a portable format; (e) object to or restrict certain processing; and (f) opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 years old to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice by email or within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
